Healthy habits to follow for great Eyelashes

We all know that our eyelashes are one of the key components to make the whole look pop. But wielding out a volumizing mascara and investing some eyelash extensions won’t make the whole look good if you don’t step up the game. A tip or two of fabulous eyelash habits is what you need to do.

Curl up!

Listen to the beauty experts: curling up your lashes beforehand with an eyelash curler is essential for the lashes to stay, well, curled.  The key is to use a good quality eyelash curler and do the deed before swiping your favorite mascara. Clamping the tool on hardened lashes can chop off the hair in the long run, even if the results look good and stay longer. It’s simply dangerous.

Again, use a high-quality eyelash curler. As we all have different eye shapes, make sure the tool is suitable and safe to be used for the lashes. When in doubt, opt of half-lash curler instead, and aim for 10 seconds minimum for the curl to last.

A tip from Lashes By Kimmie by herself: you can heat a bit the eyelash curler with a hair dryer so the whole routine is easier and the results will last longer.

Unlike before, primers are simply necessary to help your makeup stay in place throughout the day. We have a primer for face, for eyes, and now a primer for lashes (so, no more excuse for you to skip it). That said, most primers come in opaque white that can be seen at certain angles. If you can, choose mascara primers that are in black as much as possible.

A good lash look should always look fluttery and flared outwards, but in the real world, it can be hard to get it as natural lashes tend to get short at the outer corner. Your next option certainly to either use a curl mascara wand (if your favorite formula has a straight wand, use disposable ones and bend it a bit) as it’s more anatomically correct or use d curl eyelash extensions to get the look.

Go easy on the waterproof, even this formula wins hands-down for being budge-proof. The waterproof formula requires you to rub the lashes with an eye makeup remover and doing so on a daily basis will wear down the lashes.

That said, here’s an ingenious tip: apply your regular mascara, and top it off with a waterproof formula for easy removal while being budge-proof throughout the day – voila! Best of both worlds.

The tips listed here are certainly eye-opening (pun intended) and pretty sure you can up the stakes in your lash game. Why not go further than just mascara, and set up with a permanent eyelashes right here at Lashes By Kimmie? No more hassle of applying mascara every.single.day: just a light swipe and you’re good to go, as the lashes you want is already there for you.
