3. Scrunchies
Never has it been more acceptable to wear a silky scrunchie over the age of legal alcohol consumption (despite what Carrie Bradshaw thinks). This 80s trend is in the midst of a modern-day come back and we’re all over it. The key with this trend is to not take it too seriously, so pair it with off-duty, playful outfits. Ganni has it nailed with bright, spring colours and a huge amount of pattern variations.
4. Alice bands
While some trends regularly come and go, with little time in between, the Alice band really died a true death. It was over, never to return… but here it is! Resurrected. Gone are the days when a wrong-coloured bobby bin was frowned upon – in 2019 expect even more bling! Pearls are at the forefront of the movement, but sequins, velvet and embellishments are all accepted and encouraged. The major plus for this trend is that it’s an easy one to rock.
